How Wellness Rewind Patients Get Their Blood Work — No Doctor's Visit, No Insurance

Peptides, GLP-1s and NAD+ all work better when we can see your labs. Here's how our patients order their own blood work through TestWell, walk into any Quest or Labcorp, and have results back in 1–3 business days.

f you're on a peptide protocol, a GLP-1, or NAD+ with us, you've heard me say the same thing: I want to see your labs. Not because I'm hedging — because dose, timing and what we pair with it all get better when I'm looking at your actual numbers instead of guessing from how you feel.

The problem has always been getting the labs. The traditional route means booking a primary-care appointment, hoping they'll order what we need, waiting for insurance to decide what it covers, and a bill that shows up weeks later. Most of my patients don't have a doctor who will order a peptide monitoring panel on request, and I'd rather your money go toward your care than toward a visit that exists only to sign a lab slip.

So we use TestWell, a direct-access lab service. You order the panel online, a licensed physician reviews and authorizes the order (that's included — it's what makes the separate doctor's visit unnecessary), and you walk into any Quest or Labcorp patient service center with the requisition on your phone. No appointment at most locations, no insurance, one $6 lab processing fee per order and nothing owed at the draw. Results post to your TestWell portal in 1–3 business days, and you can share them with me from there. The whole process is laid out on their how it works page.

Which panels I ask for. For patients on peptides, the Peptide Therapy Monitoring Panel ($259.99) covers the 19 markers we track — IGF-1, metabolic and liver values, thyroid, inflammation and hormones — in one draw. For GLP-1 patients, the GLP-1 Monitoring & Weight Management panel ($169.99) is the set we check at baseline and again a few months in: A1c, lipids, kidney and liver function, thyroid. If we've talked about something more specific, I'll send you the exact test through your TestWell account — you'll get an email with a one-click link to order it.

A few practical notes. Fast for 8–12 hours before anything with glucose, insulin or lipids on it; water and black coffee are fine. Morning draws are easiest. If you're a new patient and we haven't set up your TestWell link yet, just order the panel directly and forward me the results — they arrive as a full lab report with reference ranges, which is exactly what I need.

Bring the results to your next visit or upload them to your patient file, and we'll go through them line by line.
